By stating Nebraskas transfers I wasn't trying to compare them to texas at all. but cooks comment about their transfers was clearly shady, and u can even see the players realize that by the smirk on Murrays face after he says it. I was just stating that coming from someone who has relied on transfers to play huge roles every single season for the last decade, you would think he wouldn't shade someone else for using themĀ lol, you reading the different emotions on Nebraska players, lmao.Ā You don't even know your own emotions, so quit while you're ahead.Ā Anybody that is a fan of any of the final four teams, and most top teams, canāt be taken seriously talking about the portal. |

Lol I really don't feel like getting into an argument over this and have no interest in trying to shade Texas right now after their well deserved win. But you just named as many transfers in the last 10 years as Texas has had over the past 2 years (Barnes, Wenaas, Caffey, Bergmark, Akana, Skinner, Fleck, Ewert). I would assume the condensed nature is what one would take issue with. Again, not saying that's right and honestly at this point who gives af, Cook can feel like he's being a purist if he wants to see it that way but that doesn't take away Texas' natty and magically send the trophy to Lincoln. BTW, just want to put it out there that the general Nebraska fan base outlook on Texas has very little to do with volleyball, as much drama as there has been between the two programs and head coaches. It has everything to do with Texas running roughshod over Nebraska at the formation of the Big 12, winning every contentious vote 11-1 with Nebraska being the lone voter, including partial qualifiers, the championship match, the site of the Big 12 headquarters, and the new Big 12 commissioner. Tom Osborne commented publicly at the time about resenting Texas getting its way. Is there a Nebraska-texas vb rivalry? Of course, even though texas never really wins when it matters, starting in 1995 when a 31-1 Nebraska drubbed Mick Haleyās Texas team. As for current affairs, pun intended, Texas has a really good team, led by their 24-year-old MB, OāNeal. I am sure your assistant coach, hunt, is looking to reacquaint himself with the people he knows on the Nebraska staff-or not. And your designated super server, Akana, will welcome the program that gave her a lifeline when her original commitment to SC went awry, and before she abandoned them for Austin. Of course little Erik was a coach at Nebraska before he fled south. Iām fairly certain Akana will be given the opportunity to show the country if she has learned how to pass a serve since she disappeared to Austin.Yep, we never win when it matters!  We love Akana! People speaking definitively about what would have happened if the Tenn Libero didnāt get hurt are just Texas haters. You donāt know what would have happened. Why is it any different to say Texas may have won in 3 had Tennessee Libero not gotten hurt? |
