Cook really shouldn’t go there. At all. He’s had transfers in to help Nebraska since Kelsey Robinson came from Tennessee her senior year. Also, I recall he poached a great middle from LSU (?) several years back. And isn't Beason a transfer as well? Cook is the biggest hypocrite in college volleyball. And his tears taste delicious.
Poached? Holman turned down a scholarship offer to play at Penn State and took out a bank loan and paid her way to Nebraska and sat out a year. She and her family believed Nebraska was best for her because Cook promised she would get her degree, something know one in her immediate family had accomplished. Talk to Florida's coach before you talk crap about Beason you might find your answer on why she decided to hit the transfer portal. At the end of the season, she spent 4 days in talks with Florida's staff prior to her decision. Tennessee's program blew up and numerous players left including Polmiller and Robinson. It was Robinson that called Coach Cook, not the other way around. Robinson was told if she wanted to come to Nebraska she would have to learn and be expected to lead. |

On a side note not a classy press conference by Nebraska… makes me want to root against them for the next 3 years!!!

defending cook on this one is not it, m'am. let's not split hairs and say that the number of transfers each team has somehow makes us holier than texas. cook was being shady and unsportsmanlike. Is this where you start negative talk about Cook? and try to keep it going with your "hate" minions. Cook, Elliot, Sheffield, Fisher, DBK, Wise, etc, etc, etc …. People formulate their own opinions (including myself) often by what they see and hear rather than personal experiences with those individuals — makes sense as we can’t personally know everyone in the world. Those with personal connections, good or bad, with NCAA coaches are the ones that can speak on these things and get to love or hate or be indifferent to them. Everyone has been a dick in their life at some point but the stage is much bigger for these people. If you are gonna hate, then hate global warming …. unless you happen to be Texas oil 🤣 |

Please everybody who are referencing the Tenn match and their lost of their libero, she played in the first set and they lost. Yea but... give it a rest. And the rest of you who cry a Fluke..poor losers. Wonder why so many ? Tenn players are in the transfer portal. Boy oh boy we just aren't giving enough collective credit to the Longhorns. Boo hoo! The biggest underdogs the world has ever seen. Congrats. No amount of praise is going to be enough for many Texas fans. |

Tenn players are in the transfer portal. *they lost because the libero got hurt *Texas won the one full set the libero played in and the rest were sketchy at best Wouldn’t it make sense to compare the contributions of the replacement L in pass/defense/OOS setting rather than the team result? I don’t understand the logic of saying because TN lost a set with that player means they weren’t affected by the loss? Regardless, injuries happen and its an unfortunate part of the game. Doesn’t take away what TX did, but still, very sad to see and opens the “What if?” Game |

Is there a Nebraska-texas vb rivalry? Of course, even though texas never really wins when it matters, starting in 1995 when a 31-1 Nebraska drubbed Mick Haley’s Texas team. As for current affairs, pun intended, Texas has a really good team, led by their 24-year-old MB, O’Neal. I am sure your assistant coach, hunt, is looking to reacquaint himself with the people he knows on the Nebraska staff-or not. And your designated super server, Akana, will welcome the program that gave her a lifeline when her original commitment to SC went awry, and before she abandoned them for Austin. Of course little Erik was a coach at Nebraska before he fled south. I’m fairly certain Akana will be given the opportunity to show the country if she has learned how to pass a serve since she disappeared to Austin.Yep, we never win when it matters!  We love Akana! She's not perfect; but, she's a fighter!  love her! and thought it was cool how some of the NE girls spared an extra sec shaking hands to congratulate her |

Going into the season the odds were against Texas repeating as national champions. This team had to find its own identity and dig itself out of the holes it dug itself into countless times throughout the season. They worked hard to improve, gaining momentum each round in the post-season, and peaking on the biggest stage these last two matches!  |
