So like I’ve never been a bigger Texas fan then I will be on Sunday. Horns UPP we love to see it I have mixed feelings. Love madden, but his rooting interest hasn’t been paying dividends so far in this tournament. |

Aside from one let-down game against Wisconsin after clinching the B1G outright, this is arguably the best Nebraska team in history, and maybe one of the best defensive volleyball teams in the history of the sport. Yeah, NO. |

I thought there was no way texas would beat wisconsin but here we are... I could see them winning this but Nebraska *should* be much better on the first two contacts than wisco was

Everything about this match up is going to be wild. I know that Harper, Laney, and Andi were stuck between committing to Nebraska or Texas... ex couple Jordan Larson and David Hunt...This is going to be insane and feels so personal at the same time. Akana, I'm ready to see that big fire in your eyes and prove Cook wrong. I'm a Husker fan, I think Akana already has. What would have been her role on the 2022 or 2023 Huskers? An SS with limited playing opportunity IMO. She looked after her own best interest in transferring, which is what all SA's should do. She is a good player playing DS on both NE and TX. |

Player comparisons each position (all these players are amazing) Skinner > Murray Batenhorst > Wenaas O’Neal > Jackson Allick > Bergmark Beason > Phillips Reilly > Swindle Rodriguez > Halter although Halter is the reason Texas beat Wisconsin. If she plays at her semifinal level this is way closer than most people think. Akana > Choboy > Barnes Texas is the better serving team but Nebraska is the better passing team. On paper I think the edge goes to Nebraska. No way Akana would start over Choboy at DS. Akana gets the edge at serving, although Choboy is also a good server. |

My hope for Sunday isn't this team or that team winning. What I hope is that that version of Texas shows up, and we get to see how Nebraska handles it. That is something I'd like to see. No idea who wins if that happens, but it'd be entertaining as hell. This is a big rivalry game in which NE will not play with deer in the headlight indecision like WI in the semi-final. Not sure what happened. TX is a good team, but not that good to make WI look like a BIG 12 lower tier team. Both NE and TX will show up and compete. Should be a fun match. |
