Smrek/Booth 24' would've sold a lot better since they're both similar height and having two girls over 6'7" would be a better marketing. Smrek can't get NIL money (as far as I know) so probably the reason they went with Crawford/Booth

I went to the 2023 link to see how these prices compared to last year's and it took me to the 2024 page. So if you want to read tomorrow's news today: uwbadgers.com/sports/2017/3/30/volleyball-season-ticket-information.aspxIIRC prices were flat from the 2022 to 2023 season. It was the 2021 to 2022 season (which included the new Gold seating options and renovations that required) that really had the big hike. Edit: after a little more research it looks like this chart shows the seating contributions for each seating tier for the 2023 season (i.e., only Gold had a contribution threshold). View AttachmentI'm guessing about these numbers but here's what I _think_ the prices per tier were last year: Gold: $280 (+$250 contribution) Silver: $225 Bronze: $190 Red: $170 GA: $115 Again, these are guesses. So by my math prices are going up about 25% per tier, plus new seating contributions for the Silver and Bronze folks. Silver last season was $210 (plus fees). But you're leaving out the "contribution", which is new this year for silver, and bronze. My silver ticket last year was maybe $220; this year it's gonna cost maybe $390 or so. General admission tickets last year (2023) were $84/ticket. Two tickets were $168 + $15 application fee

Randomly checking on 2024 season tickets this morning: - Season ticket renewal starts TOMORROW, May 1st, through May 15. You'd think there would have been an email by now... - Prices going up, and not by a little: Gold - $350 plus $250 "contribution" Silver - $280 plus $100 "contribution" Bronze - $238 plus $50 "contribution" Red - $210 GA - $140So for Silver section tickets, that's an 81% increase in the season ticket price. 😮 Amazing. 🤬 Keep in mind that it was only between the 2021 (championship) season and 2022 that it went from something around $90 (IIRC) to the $210 that silver cost these past two years. The "contribution" is as much or more than the entire cost was four years ago.

GEEZ!
Between yesterday and this morning, the quoted prices on the web site went UP AGAIN!
Gold is now $375 plus $250 (yesterday it was $350) Silver is $300 plus $100 (yesterday to was $280) Bronze $255 plus $50 (yesterday it was $238) Red is $225 (yesterday wass was $210) GA is $150 (Yesterday it was $140)
Maybe this explains why no email yet, and that the link that was supposed to go live today isn't working.
Sign up quick, before prices go up again!

Looks like they divided nicely by 14 before, and now 15. Extra home match? Based on the parking rate of $75, I would assume this means 15 home matches are expected ($5/match for parking has been standard for a while).

I'm not sure how that's gonna happen, unless they're playing more non-conf matches than previous. We already know the two matches at Fiserv and the two vs Baylor/TCU. And the rumored "week zero" match. Unless "week zero" is at the Field House, how do they get to five home matches? Ten non-conf, when the usual is eight? I wasn't sure we were even gonna get four.

Do you even count the Fiserv matches as home matches in the package if they've already gone on sale?

Smrek can't get NIL money (as far as I know) so probably the reason they went with Crawford/Booth I was under the impression that noncitizens could not get NIL money unless they had a green card, which is permission for non-citizens to work in the US. Maybe that has changed. I suppose she could have a green card by now.

I've been purchasing parking for a few years but this year I think I am going to switch to uber. It will cost a lot more but driving sucks and I really resent the 20 minutes I spend in the parking lot after the game.
