As I said already before, if the defence and serve continues from the Purdue game and Sarah, Anna, Carter and Julia improve, the team will be favourites regardless of home court advantage. One of the reasons of home court advantage is travel fatigue from the opposition team.
USC and UCLA will have to travel far for B1g matches since most of the B1g teams are in the northeast. They have a stronger home court advantage due to travel fatigue but opponents especially teams who are based on the northeast will have fatigue as well.

Does anyone know when coach is doing either another press conference or Kelly Sheffield Show? I've looked but neither the UW or ESPN Madison is good about displaying the old ones or advertising upcoming instances. Youtube sucks for it, too.

press conferences are usually on Mon/Tue. Not every week though. Should be on official Badgers youtube page if available.

I really want to find a sportsbook with a line on this game to put a bet on Wisconsin. Wisconsin has been playing so good lately. Nebraska fans will put a bunch of money behind their team, keeping the line in Wisconsins favor.

I read an article with quotes from Kellys press conference about the Nebraska match, but I couldn't find the press conference to watch it anywhere.

I have a feeling if you wander over to the Nebraska thread you'll find someone willing to book that bet for you

While I’m sure visiting team travel time is a factor in home field advantage, in volleyball home field advantage is quite pronounced, much like it is in basketball but not baseball. It exists even for teams that are geographically close to each other. I don’t really know why that is the case though. Wisconsin should win on Friday.

Badgers seem way more comfortable serving in their own building and the FH is a notoriously tricky place for servers to get used to, at least according to opponents who visit. But it would be nice to see serving stats and passing stats to back it up. I don't think I've seen it proven.

I predicted the Badgers at 24-5 at the end of the regular season. I only got ONE loss to give now! (…and I was reserving that one for Lincoln) Go Badgers…protect my predictive reputation. 🤩 Dungeon inhabitants, do your thing on Friday!

It is kind of funny that the Badgers hold wins against the top 3 teams in the receiving votes category in this week's AVCA poll: Texas A&M, Washington, and Marquette.

Thanks exit237a ! The lineup is mostly the same, but I’d go with the following: S Charlie Fuerbringer L Lola Schumacher RS Anna Smrek OH Sarah Franklin OH Julia Orzol MB Carter Booth MB Devyn Robinson DS Gülce Güçtekin SS Caroline Crawford This is perfect! Thanks, badgerbyproxy!
Heyo, LMK when you get the thread up so I can link it in the OP.
