Interesting bc Beason didn't necessarily take away from Lindsay as they play different positions. Krause can play either pin and was forced into opposite her first two years. One has to think if Beason didn't transfer, Krause would have competed for time at both pins even though opposite is not her preferred position. When Beason transferred in, it pretty much meant nobody else would play opposite.

Transfer portal additions obviously create potential (and undoubtedly real) intrasquad tensions related to competition for playing time. All outwards appearances are that NE WVB has handled this very well. Everything indicates this is a tight cohesive group/team. That says a lot about the character of the players on the team.

Thanks Maybe I remember wrong, but I thought Coach Cook said Lindsay preferred to play OH, not OPP, in 2021 and/or 2022. Back then it was Linsay and Ally co.peting fir OH playing time. Lindsay seemed to be very excited about Merrit transferring to NE. Before Merrit transferred in, in 2022, Whitney became the OPP starter, with one rotation on left for Whitney and one on the right for Lindsay. Further, when this class came in I recollect Ally being projected as an OPP and Lindsay as an OH. Things didn't work out that way as far as Ally playing OPP. More importantly, congrats to all the seniors. Great young adults. Wish them the best. Very much enjoyed watching them play and look forward to watching them finish out their NE careers.

Does tonight's win clinch at least a share of the Big 10 title? Or do they use a head-to-head tiebreaker? Take care of business next week and we win the title outright. But if we <gulp> lose to PSU, is it a shared title? Or do they win by tiebreaker? No. A victory over Maryland clinches at least a share. We could still lose two more and PSU could finish with one conference loss. We are sitting very pretty but it’s not a lock. Otherwise they would have had the trophy there tonight. One more win clinches at least a share. Two guarantees an outright conference championship Egads! I hope the team does a better job than I did... totally looked past Maryland, assuming the win.

Even if we turn the lineup over and sleep walk through the whole match, there's no way we lose to Maryland.

Lindsay said that she preferred to play OH. She was a pretty good OPP though. She played quite a bit in late 2022 when Lauenstein was struggling.

Everyone in the Nebraska volleyball community knows Pat Krause is insane and ignores him.

He shaded Landfair on facebook too for "getting 6 years of eligibility" while Krause "got 4"

View AttachmentLike why on earth was this necessary lol (sorry idk how to link a tweet on here) I think Lindsay has indirectly mentioned she has daddy issues on Tik tok as well im sure she doesn't feel this way Lindsay played OPP her first two years and it was stated she would rather play OH and Cook would do that for her. Thus why it was important for them to bring Beason in especially with Laurenstein leaving the team
