Assuming Nebraska beats Maryland I think we can assume the following: 1. Pittsburg 2. Penn State -- only because they won the head to head 3. Nebraska 4. Stanford -- have to think they get the nod over Creighton based on SOS PSU will not be seeded above Nebraska if Nebraska beats Maryland. The H2H does not override Nebraska being better at all the main evaluation criteria. |

I honestly think the Penn State game was a bump in the road. Lots to learn from, and PSU played a great game! We’ve really turned it around during the 2nd set against Maryland, and I’m sure they will bring it all come tournament time. I think we can all agree that there’s been enough of the negativity!

Maryland is not a good team and there is nothing positive about losing a set to them especially during the last match before the NCAAs

After talking to Penn State fans, their understanding is that PSU has won the title outright due to Big Ten bylaws that claim head -to-head match-ups determine the champion. Since PSU and Nebraska only play once and the both finish 19-1, Penn State earns the title and automatic bud to NCAA. Those Penn State fans would be surprised to see the Women of Corn celebrating with the B1G trophy tonight in College Park. |

I'm not bashing specific players in this post at all. I'm being critical of a team that underperformed during both their matches this week and deserves some scrutiny. |
