Not trying to jinx stuff, but I'd love to hear some projections : When does Nebraska lose its first set in the tournament? I'm going to say Quarterfinal. Not basing that on intimate knowledge btw hahaha. In 2015, they lost the first set of the tournament to Harvard and in 2008, the second set to Liberty. You never know.

Watched the replay of last year's match against Pitt and had forgotten how badly the Huskers thumped them. Hope they make it to the final. If Nebraska could hold Babcock and Stafford to a combined .118 hitting again, I would take that. I won't be holding my breath though. They are both different teams than last season. Am I right thinking that Pitt may be the only team this year described as scary? Also concerning me are comments that Pitt has three players who are in consideration for player of the year and really has a fourth that should be considered at that level? Love this Nebraska team and these players. I am a little surprised with talk that we'll crush everyone. I just want them to win. Go Big Red!

Does anyone know how Paige Hubl passed? Such sad, heartbreaking news.

I don’t think many with a true knowledge of the game are thinking Nebraska is going to crush everyone. Especially Pittsburgh. The person telling me this on Facebook was saying Nebraska has the better “spikers”

The teams I fear in the tournament as a Nebraska fan, in order of scariness: Pitt (I think Pitt is clearly better than the Huskers, but I'm only "scared" of them in terms of, you have to beat the best to be the best), Texas (tournament confidence, Skinner, and Nebraska having PTSD if they see horns through the net), Creighton (although my loyalty is 50/50, so I wouldn't cry if CU won that matchup, especially this year, the one chance they really have for the near future to win), and maybe Penn State (depends on Caroline's ongoing butthurt and whatever strategy NU pursues, although being at a neutral site might solve that anyway). Not scared at all of Louisville, Wisconsin, or Stanford. If Nebraska faces Wisco in the tourney and gets beat, it's a choke. Nebraska has proven definitively this year that they're the better team.

Silly not to worry about a Miami upset. They have bad losses, but beat Texas,Stanford, and Georgia Tech — when they are on, high ceiling.

Does anyone know how Paige Hubl passed? Such sad, heartbreaking news. I don't think we'll know for a while. If the COD isn't publicized, it's something the family doesn't want to discuss. (This was my personal experience when a lifting friend died and you couldn't find anything public about it; I heard from another person he was close to at the gym that he ODed. I am NOT SAYING this is Paige's COD, just that if it's not public by now, we probably won't know)
