Seems like that will be it for transfers. Maybe they'll look for pin help in the May portal window. I would definintely agree that looking for OH depth in next portal window will be a priority unless one surfaces here quickly as part of this current window. As has been stated, the status of injury/recovery for Urquhart and Worden are two huge variables in that OH corps for 2024. Speaking of transfers, certainly wish Dennis well at FIU. Any news about where Mateo, Darling and Cole may land? Saw a note in one of the transfer threads that Mateo may be of interest to Rice.

Not sure I have seen anything official about Mateo other than her name being linked to Rice and I do think the staff keeps looking for OH now and into the second window.

Haven’t seen much on Darling or Cole.

Still some outsides in this December portal. I believe one visited earlier. Could still be in the works.

Still some outsides in this December portal. I believe one visited earlier. Could still be in the works. Any idea who? I don't know who visited but outsides who they seem to have interest in are Kubik, Sophia Tulino Santa Clara, Brielle Warren Purdue, Big West player of the year Sophia Meyers from Portland State. Probably a few others I'm missing.

Transfer from Lafayette seems unlikely to help dig Hawkeyes out of the Big Ten basement, or win one B1G match for that matter.

Transfer from Lafayette seems unlikely to help dig Hawkeyes out of the Big Ten basement, or win one B1G match for that matter. This is a dedicated, talented student-athlete committing to the Iowa program to further her athletic and academic career, who, in the process, provides some much-needed depth at a position in need next year. I can't speak for other Iowa fans who continue to support this program through some difficult times, but I, for one, sure do appreciate you stopping by the thread to add this good-natured and supportive comment. It was very enlightening and eye-opening.
