Now that the 2024 threads are populating, maybe we start using this one. Unless Hawk fans want to use the old one and rename the thread, not sure how that works.
Also, the latest tea I’ve heard is there is a really good outside hitter on campus tomorrow. A middle was already on campus this week.

I don't think Maddy Hanson is staying. I had wondered about her. Obviously know nothing about whatever has been happening with her to keep her out of commission, but this sure couldn't have been the season/experience she was hoping for. |

Looks like we have another new Hawkeye! Any scoop on who this might be? I see a cowboy hat in this...hmmm. Maybe someone from Texas? I remember the Alamo (pardon the pun) reference earlier, so perhaps that is related?

Just watched a bit of a couple of SMU matches I found from this past fall season in which she played quite a bit. From the little I watched, she definitely looks athletic, quick and can pound the ball. I did find it bit interesting as I looked at her 2023 season stats that it appears she got a lot more playing time at the very start of the season as a Freshman than she did towards the end of the season. Obviously, that could be for a variety of reasons...just found that bit intriguing. Looks like a much-needed good get for the Hawks in the middle! |

Looking at the roster it looks like they had 2 graduate middles who played really well. So time was likely limited due to that. The slide looked really good. |
