USC without Skylar Fields at #4? that is a choice. Honestly, without seeing the schedule, I think ranking the teams beyond #3 or #4 is a crap shoot. Other than perhaps Iowa, Rutgers and maybe Michigan, I think most of these teams are beatable on any given night by another team.

It’s crazy how much good this league would’ve been like 5 years ago. When Nebraska, Illinois, Penn State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Oregon, Purdue, Michigan, Washington, USC, UCLA were all ranked most of the season.

I would like to think in terms of Pablo/Massey - or some kind of ranking of the teams as opposed to conference record given the likely unbalanced schedules. I certainly didn't put Florida State close to Louisville/Pitt in the ACC this year. As such - I would consider a ranking to be independent of schedule and more about who is likely to be better.

Wisconsin at #1 is a bold choice for a team graduating both setters.

Wisconsin at #1 is a bold choice for a team graduating both setters. Naw, we gonna be running a 5-1 with maybe the best freshman setter in the nation. And we've seen what freshman setters can do. Mind you, I'd still have Nebraska at #1 but because they're that good, not because Wisconsin will drop.

We've seen far more top ranked freshman setters NOT win at the highest levels than we have seen freshman setters win at the highest levels. Also, have you actually WATCHED the setters in the 2024 class? Personally, I haven't found any of them to be that standout.

The Wolverines are too high.
What will be the schedule structure going forward, after the Pac 4 join?

The Wolverines are too high. What will be the schedule structure going forward, after the Pac 4 join? right now it's been rumored that each team plays each other once, their travel partner twice, then someone else twice -- probably a team within travel distance.
