im not smart enough to know why these are only 360p when they're uploaded in higher quality but here's Plummer vs Novara (game 2 and 3) this is unfair. Wolosz’s connection with Fahr has middles completely overwhelmed. they’re terrified of Haak the other direction too. I wish a USA setter could set a quick so we could do anything like this.

If we're comparing the same opponents (for no reason other than #agendas) Logan: 5.86 kps, .327, 45.8% attack (35 sets) Vargas: 3.83 kps, .291, 47.9% attack (6 sets) Boskovic: 4.69 kps, .369, 48.4% attack (26 sets) JT: 2.92 kps, .324, 42% attack (27 sets, I didnt check for the dub subs cause i dont have time for that) Samedy: 3.34 kps, .205, 34% attack (49 sets) Karch can... USA combo of Cook and Plummer look really really good. Can we please find an opposite. We might actually be good.

If any of our setters can set them both like Wolosz then not having an opposite is kind of moot. Granted, we need some sort of offense from the right or the opposition block is going to be know exactly where the ball is going. JT just looks snake bit. I am going back through the 2023 VNL matches and she keeps over running literally every set. Her connection with Hancock is garbage. Carlini not much better. Maybe Poulter is the answer?

I think it’s time we stop blaming the setters for JTs lack of performance.

an hour ago she sucked. By July she will be better than Egonu she isn’t as good as Boskovic Egonu or haak. She’s solidly number 4. She doesn’t have nearly the range as the other 3. She just hits hard You don’t think Vargas has range? I’d take her over Egonu and Haak.

Taking her over Egonu and haak is crazy but at least you didn’t say over boskovic lmfao Yes, but Vargas is largely untrained, and she's doing what she does based on mostly pure athletic ability. She didn't get quality training in Cuba, because their system has basically collapsed, and she really hasn't gotten it anywhere else. Boskovic's training has been superior to any of the others because Serbia incorporated a lot of the Russian methodology, which is a bit rigid but quite strong (and Boskovic is also just hugely talented). Egonu isn't particularly well trained either, and while her peak potential is still high, she has the least range of the group (or at least, she hasn't incorporated it or taken as much advantage of the opportunities available to her), and it's not clear that she ever will. If Vargas could get into the right situation with the right trainer/coach, she could easily surpass Egonu and Haak.
