Being 4th or 5th best isn't bad at all. I never said Vargas was bad And I never said Haak was bad either. My initial post was in reaction to the suggestion about range, which includes fluidity, physical strength, and actual training in addition to current performance. |

Being 4th or 5th best isn't bad at all. who's your fifth you'd potentially put over Haak? Stysiak? I originally typed 5th, but I realized that was probably too low, so just added the 4th rather replace the 5th. That was just bad math on my part. I def don't think Stysiak is better than Haak. |

I thought Vargas about a year ago was clearly in discussion of best opposite. I don't think anyone was going wrong taking her, Boskovic, Egonu, or Haak. I think the differences were pretty marginal - if anything - I am/was most skeptical of Egonu. But anyways, this my girl  |

But anyways, this my girl I think that much of the Dominican team, with the exception of Brenda, is a perfect example of what I'm suggesting. It's not just a question of who is good or who is better right now, but who can become much better than they are right now. |

But also is the most inconsistent. Really the only things that can stop Egonu are Egonu herself and her setter. |
