What is your problem? Why are you even in USA threads if all you do is undermine the team and put down the players ? lanier will not be a starter, that's a fact not putting her down! Oh please. We aren’t stupid lol

Do the pro teams in the US have any restrictions on age for when players can join the league. If not sooner or later one of those really talented underclassmen will leave college early. Also I think Regen Cooper has the talent to emerge as a candidate for the national team. LA is more open than people think especially if Karch retires as coach. You have to be 18 to be eligible for the PVF Draft. Federal child labor laws restrict minors to working no more than 10 hours in a day with a weekly average of 8 hours per day. To avoid confusion around travel time to away matches combined with practices and actual game days - plus, the fact each state might have more strict rules - I doubt any league would go younger than 18.

There have been some under 18's in the NWSL, not sure of the logistics on that

USA players take longer to develop.. at least half the Paris team will be in LA.. Definitely over half of the current 30 could be in LA. Omitting those committed to LOVB: Ls: Morgan Hentz, Zoe Fleck, Kendall White MBs: Dana Rettke, Stevie Hall, Asjia O’Neal, Brionne Butler, Serena Gray, Kayla Haneline OHs: Kathryn Plummer, Avery Skinner, Khalia Lanier, Ali Frantti OPPs: Madi Skinner, Kendall Kipp, Taylor Mimms Ss: Ashley Evans, Jenna Gray, PLUS: those seen training for NORCECA events, and still others from U21. What an inventory of US talent!

In the next 4 years with 2 domestic pro leagues, this nation has to be able produce Olympic level talent still in their 20’s able to beat out most of this group! You would only have 2 players on this roster under 30 in 2028 (Dana & Avery both 29). The remaining OH’s will be 42, 36 & 30; MB’s 33 & 33; RS 35 & 31; setters 36, 33 & 31.
