Lauren Carlini has announced she will be leaving the USA NT, which setter is Karch gonna scout next for that 3rd setter spot? Jenna Gray? Sydney Hilley? Tori Dilfer? Ashley Evans? From college Kami Miner? Kate Lang? Rachel Fairbanks? Alexis Stucky? Big12 stars Camryn Haworth and Camryn Turner? who’s replacing Carlini ?Haworth isnt in the big 12 lol and it'll be Jenna or Kami. my bad big ten |

I don't think that NT players will be okay to spend their summer in Nebraska lol. Moving the facility to Anaheim improved team bonding a lot when you compare with old days. What’s Nebraska summers like? Never been They suck (I lived in the Lincoln area for five years). The main issue is the humidity, which makes it feel even hotter than it actually is. |

The biggest difference was quality time outside of practice (and outside the USAV compound). A lot of NT team players bought houses in Colorado Springs because it was super affordable at the time. But Colorado Springs was also a weird mixture of uber religious Christianity and simultaneously, home to a lot of sorta kinky sub-cultures. Southern California presents its own problems, but the weather and abundance of things to do balance out the training blocks a lot better imo. |

I literally had to leave my suit at work so I can change into it there instead of getting it all sweaty on the way eta yes re Sheep Meadow. But I’m allergic to grass… oy |
