I think we're at the mercy of the NCAA to commit to developing 6 position players. I won't hold my breath. the best way for them to work towards 6-ro OPP development is to limit the number of subs - maybe not to the level of international vb rules but if we just work to reducing that would be great. The NCAA will always prioritize participation (especially for D2/3) over national team development....especially for volleyball, which is one of the most lopsided in m/f participation...it helps to offset SOME of football.

Any word on Brooke Nuneviller’s intentions with the NT team? Is she even interested in libero? I believe she wants to focus on her pro career as an outside.

suddenly im taking the caltrain northbound to San Fran Wait will women’s be 9-man too this year? I think in the past women played 6 and men played 9. women are still playing 6s. I just still call it 9man even when referring to the women side. I heard that the women a long time ago tried to do actual 9s and it didn't work out so well.

asked Kiraly if he’s coming back as the coach. “I would say that’s a possibility,” he replied. “We have some things to figure out. USA Volleyball has some things to figure out. We have our great CEO on his way out,” Kiraly said, nodding to Davis, “finishing up at the end of September. There’s a search going on right now and from my best understanding USA Volleyball is doing the wise thing and waiting to get that checked off before they figure out other things, like who will coach the women and who will coach the men and if people like me and John return.” he's so back. !!!!###$$$!!!

This doesn’t really belong anywhere so I chose here. Precursor: I have always wondered Kelsey’s true height because she’s always listed taller than she looks. She’s usually listed at 6’2” or even 6’3” sometimes. I just watched a TikTok where she says she’s 6’ 3/4”. I know some people like to talk about height so I thought I’d share lol www.tiktok.com/t/ZP81GocbU/Sorry if already shared, I’m behind a little

Kathryn Plummer seems to have been diagnosed with a kneecap tumor and meniscus tear in the summer and treatments have been started i dont think its a tumor (per se) I think it's something with the cartilage in her kneecap (at least that's what my translation is saying)

Kathryn Plummer seems to have been diagnosed with a kneecap tumor and meniscus tear in the summer and treatments have been started Wow so this is likely the injury/is related to why she was taken off the VNL roster and had her knee wrapped. It’s possible she played through it to be an Olympian. Hoping she gets better soon. I think she’s had knee issues in the past before right? Tbh I was wondering what caused the drop off in her play and if it really was just a mental thing but injury could explain it.
