Since I was accused of partaking in mind altering substances after I said that I'd take Kipp over Annie to Paris at this point, here's some stats from Kipp at Firenze this year now that her season's over and Annie at Megabox last year: Kipp: 11 games, 39 sets, 137-44-358 hitting (.260), 23 blocks (0.59/set), 8 aces 11 errors in 98 serves Annie: 16 games, 63 sets, 250-97-608 hitting (.252), 10 blocks (0.16/set), 11 aces 38 errors in 206 serves It wouldn't be 2021 Annie going to Paris, it would be 2024 Annie and there's no reason to think that's better than 2023 Annie was, likely worse. Annie also had better setting with Hancock than Kipp got at Firenze and still hit worse. Plus Kipp did this a few weeks after finishing at Stanford while Annie's been a professional for years so Kipp has a ton more room for improvement/upside IMO. Kipp is already a better floor defender, which isn't saying much since Annie is awful but still. Thank you omg. Can they PLEASE take Kipp over Annie... like Annie is 30+ years old and gives nothing on the offensive or defensive side of the ball. I'm so sick of her and would rather Cuttino atp lmao which I can't believe I'm saying out loud. Kipp is 23 and obviously she's not perfect or the most experienced as she has played half a season of pro volleyball but she has so much potential and going to the Olympics could do wonders for her growth. Obviously she wouldn't be starting over JT but just being there would be amazing for her

Frantti has been sus at times, Bajema’s numbers well we don’t have to go there, Plummer has been consistently starting over Lanier, etc. Which outside besides KRob has been convincing? Lol. Larson in the practice gym? Okay but you have to give Frantti credit for consistency in NT season, she’s had incredible clutch moments over the last two years in VNL defensively and offensively

Even if Kipp hit 0.500 this year I doubt Karch makes that decision

Frantti will have to be assessed during the VNL.
you cant put too much into Cansu's moonball offense.

I know not super relevant but I always get sad that danielson never had a national team career. I know she was too short to play outside and turned down Libero options but it still sucks lol

I would love for Kipp to crush it and have a chance, but we haven't seen her on the NT yet while Annie has bailed out team USA time and time again when JT's shaky. Bring Kipp to a week of VNLs, see how she connects with usa setters, and go from there?

Larson in the practice gym? exactly. Plummer is on the roster unless she has a tragic VNL. HOWEVER, to answer your question. SWP uhhhm plummer definitely has a great season so far but she also has the best team roster compare to other USA OHs lol would you think she'll play and carry a team if she is playing cheiri or kuzeyburo or even vakifbank? 🤔

She’ll next to Krob and JWO .. it could be very similar to what Conegliano has implemented.

Also JWO isn't capable of poaching at the level Moki is.

Kipp, on the other hand, has made big strides quickly.
