2023 VNL Passing Kelsey - 2.49 (101) JWO - 2.34 (115) Frantti - 2.32 (126) Lanier - 2.12 (223) Skinner - 2.04 (192) Plummer 1.83 (151) Hentz - 2.36 (42) Bajema - 2.03 (58) our liberos need to poach more, but this is nothing new. I just quickly watched Plummer's passing vs China earlier.. I wonder how much of it is they dont want them too? I mean the serves were poachable, but Plummer would go in front of Kelsey/JWO. Hopefully another season with Kelsey gets them more comfortable with it. |

Didn’t the USA run a weird hentz JWO thing at the VNL? Like JWO came in for serve receive and hentz for defense or some odd thing? I thought that was mostly at the 2022 WCs |

Disagree with her being a "very good OOS setter". She hasn't shown she has "world class" defence either, it's very good, but not world class. HATERRRRRRRRRR LOL Hentz is a world class defender! please stop the cap. Where am I hater when I called her, very good? Maybe you just have a different standard than me? LOL Brenda is world class, and it doesnt seem right to put hentz in the same category. |

I wonder how much of it is the coaches fault in regards to this. I have a feeling when it comes to stuff like this, it might be more player led. where plummer doesnt feel like she needs the help? Or the “trust” players have in each other actually leads them to not poach. We have seen instances where players were poaching after it seemed like help was asked for, it doesnt seem like part of the system (e.g. Brooke nuneviller against serbia in the fifth). |

Yeah her passing was trash, but even when she forced carlini to chase it down and give her a high ball, Plummer was still scoring. As long as she's not downright shanking (which she did quite a few times against China), I'd still want her on the court to put balls away or at least as a sub option. 100% bring her to Paris just for her right arm.
This coming from a former Plummer hater.

Even with my limited knowledge of international volleyball even I know Plummer is pretty much a for sure go for Paris
Her and Robinson
Larson if she chooses too
Frantii/skinner seem to be competing for the last spot
Middles seem to be set too at rettke, Washington and ogbogu
Setters should be carlini and Hancock unless poulter stuns us all post recovery
Opposites seem set too (when by all accounts they should not be, giving 2016 flashbacks)
