This might sound cynical and I know its The United States of America, but, should fans really be disappointed with any medal at the Olympics? Even a bronze seems acceptable given the current state of the team and its recent results in this quad. Only gold matters...its all or nothing. Silver or bronze don't cut it. Kidding aside, at this point, I just want them to do the best they can. Expecting a certain result on the podium would only bring...disappointment.

Any word on Jordyn Poulter's progress? Is she definitely being ruled out for Paris? I want to know about her status too. She was a key player of course at Tokyo. If she can't go to Paris...then how will that impact the team?

I would be hard pressed to think she can walk into the USA gym this spring & be competitive without some playing experience between now and then. Wether that is a half season in Europe, PVF or something else….I just don’t know if she is at that point in her rehab yet.

I hope not but hard to imagine she’ll be able to top Hancock and Carlini whom have been training ( on low level teams lol ) this year. Hopefully she’ll rebound but if not this year for the next quad.

If she's not playing season because she's not ready, I'm not sure they'd risk bringing her but I've been wrong when it comes to Karch before.

all I know is if Pukis doesn’t get a shot this summer at the VNL… like Poulter won’t be ready, and we’re taking Hancock and Carlini barring injury. give her a shot and maybe she outperforms one of them🫣

With Jordyn signed with LOVB Salt Lake, I don't think she can play anywhere in the US outside of the NT with the exception of PR. Otherwise, she'll have to go to Europe.

Carlini and Hancock have played pro for a long time and bring a lot of tangible and intangible skill, much of which was gained playing professionally.

I mean, she’s fine, but I don’t think she’ll ever be the #1 or #2 option for the USA barring injuries. Pukis actually has that potential imo so might as well get her run, and then if she does really well like Asjia did, we have another option for paris, whether we use it or not. the wild card would’ve been Jenna Gray who was having a good season in Brazil before getting hurt:/ SKT has been incredible for her French team too but her being on the wide roster doesn’t seem likely at this point with Hilley, Evans, and co. still being in the mix

She can and should be part of a re-brand for the 2028 quad.
