Finally! 4-months later.
Admin (who had ignored complaints previously and oversaw this glacial process) should get the boot too.

Finally! 4-months later. Admin (who had ignored complaints previously and oversaw this glacial process) should get the boot too. FWIW, Gawlik, the AD, is also being investigated for various complaints unrelated to Gonzalez.

The article states:
The OCRI found insufficient evidence that Gonzalez sexually discriminated against female assistant coaches.
But it was never stated previously that any of the assistants had joined the complaint (in fact, they seemed to have been supportive of his version). I wonder if there was an actual complaint by an assistant coach, or if it came from some part of the over-all complaint by the students.

Re-read the first paragraph of www.dailynews.com/2024/03/27/idaho-volleyball-coach-chris-gonzalez-placed-on-leave/amp/It says that they found SUFFICIENT evidence.

The poster was referring to a part that concerned assistant coaches only. It seems that they updated it and removed that part because I do remember well that the original version said they found sufficient evidence of abuse and discrimination against the players but insufficient evidence that he was sexually discriminating against female assistant coaches which caught my attention as well because that was never mentioned before. Edit: the part about the assistant coaches is still there actually.

Every article and link say SUFFICIENT. You said INSUFFICIENT. Why is this so hard to understand?

Every article and link say SUFFICIENT. You said INSUFFICIENT. Why is this so hard to understand? It's two different allegations. One involves the student-athletes. The other involves the assistant coaches. Read the actual link: Idaho volleyball head coach Chris Gonzalez was placed on leave Wednesday after a preliminary report by the university’s Office of Civil Rights and Investigations found “sufficient evidence” that Gonzalez committed sex-based harassment, retaliated against Vandals players and violated other university policies, the Southern California News Group has learned. The OCRI also found “sufficient evidence” that Gonzalez, the Southern California native and former U.S. national team coach, discriminated against players based on national origin and violated three other university policies, according to the OCRI’s 42-page report. The OCRI found insufficient evidence that Gonzalez sexually discriminated against female assistant coaches.
