Poland's strongest roster on paper prediction(bear with me I haven't watched a ton of pro ball this season): S: Wolosz, Kowalewska OH: Lukasik, Rosanski, Czyrniańska and either Mędryzk or Górecka OPP: Stysiak, Smarzek MB: Korneluk, Alagierska, Jurczyk, ? L: Stenzel, Maj-Erwardt I mean, that's a decently strong roster IMO. Wenerska should be there A solid back up option to Wolosz. Right now Kowalewska's team Chemik Police is up 1-0 on Wenerska's team Rzezsow. Which ever one of them comes out on top in that contest will have momentum going into the VNL. |

I wonder if this is going to be Europe's year to claim more than one olympic medal or will the USA and Brazil get the ever repeating gold medal rematch? I have to think that Serbia, Italy and Turkey will all be in the conversation for lots of hardware this summer. It all comes down to rosters. Italy is intriguing because Velasco is now in charge of the program instead of Mazzanti. A non-European CEV team (Turkey) will win with a non-Turkish player (Vargas) |

I kind of need to see this roster at some point for Italy this summer: S: Orro, Bosio OH: Pietrini, Bosetti, Sylla, ? MB: Fahr, Danesi, Lubian, ? OPP: Egonu, Antropova L: DeGennaro, Fersino Not sure who the 4th OH should be or the 4th middle for the VNL. That 4th middle probably won't make the Olympic roster. This roster on paper should do well. Thoughts? Bonifacio for the last middle? She's the only one who's made major tournament rosters other than Chirichella and Folie, and she's been starting over Chirichella at Novara. Final OH has a pretty big dropoff. Probably down to Perinelli or Degradi. |

Fahr and Danesi were the starters in Tokyo. Nothing I've seen from any others, except for Folie who has retired from the NT, shows me that anyone else should be starting. The question is who will be the best option as a back up. I think Lubian or Bonifacio are it. Nwakalor not much further behind those two.

Who do you think will win? They seemed pretty unstoppable with Vargas. “unstoppable” they won 15-13 in the 5th against a Serbian team missing a starter and a sick flu and half of turkeys starters have been horrible this club |
