I wouldn’t be surprised if Lazovic makes it instead of bjelica and bjelica is the 13th injury reserve. Also if Kurtagic has a monster VNL maybe but I doubt it. I wish though Please, please do not take Bjelica. I'd rather see Mihajlovic on the right. I mean if we are being honest it doesn’t matter much who the back up OPP is. If for some reason we needed one we are prob screwed

I'm excited that the VNL is expanding the number of teams in the tournament with out increasing the number of matches played in the preliminaries.
I'm hoping to get some good looks at some of these teams we saw in previous Challenger Cups on a more regular basis each summer.
Do we have any idea which teams will be added to the tournament?

Did anyone see that Germany replaced head coach Vital Heynen with Alexander Waibl?

According to this - en.volleyballworld.com/volleyball/competitions/volleyball-nations-league/news/vnl-to-expand-to-18-teams-in-2025So for 2025, the teams who will be added are likely Belgium and maybe Puerto Rico/Argentina/Ukraine? From my understanding, there will be no Challenger Cup anymore next year and the bottom team will always just be replaced by the next highest-ranked team. It just puts more importance to World Ranking so we'll just most likely see the current next ranked non VNL teams like the ones listed above, then bottom team replaced again by the formerly relegated VNL team from the year before lol

KYK is apparently doing like an "all star" match in June, where she's inviting some of her international friends like Sheilla, Fabiana, etc. to play a match together in Korea I believe. I don't know if it's being streamed or if there will be footage but I really hope there will be!

Insane to think that Korea made OG SF twice given where it is today.

There was a whole Turkey crew she seemed pretty close with. I'd bet Bosko and Larson would get an invite.

Those with NT duties might have a hard time joining this since it is scheduled in June. First batch of international players announced: BRAZIL: Sheilla Castro, Natalia Pereira, Fabiana Claudino JAPAN: Miyu Nagaoka BELGIUM: Helene Rousseaux THAILAND: Pleumjit Thinkaow

I think Smrek may be due to timing - this event ends just a few days before the NCAA season starts.
