i know calendar's dont always work out... but it'd be nice to have the U19/21 events during the off weeks of VNL.
like the NORCECA U21 championship is the same week as the NORCECA Final Six... which is a few days after the VNL Finals.

AVC Challenge Cup starts tonight. Are they streamed? volleyb I don’t think there’s an official international stream but definitely there will be someone who'll re-stream at facebook and private youtube links 😅 Some info about this tournament: - Vietnam is still the favorite to win. They are even stronger this year than last year since their power Opp is back - Indonesia almost won last year but they are sending their team B / younger roster this year with Proliga ongoing. No Megawati. - last year’s 3rd Chinese Taipei for some reason also did not bring their usual players - host Philippines as usual creates a different National Team per tournament, without a real program 😂 They just created this roster last week, mix of college and pro players who haven’t played with each other 😅 Some pretty exciting players will debut this time though so I’m still going to watch live.

www.youtube.com/live/_0ScxoFVc80?si=JOQO7_T7pMaJVOF-It looks like they are going to stream here “Enjoy watching the 2024 Women's AVC Challenge Cup, taking place in Manila (Philippines) in the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Challenger Cup” That link is to one match but they have a playlist of upcoming live videos.

Not available in our country 😅 But yeah if that works for others, that’s definitely the international stream. Volleyballworld has a partnership with AVC for streaming starting this year, iirc.

Does anyone have the Philippines roster for this tournament? Or is it somewhere in the thread (since I didn't go looking for it)?

I believe, some correct me if I'm wrong, but despite all being Filipino-American, they have changed federations long enough ago to be eligible for their National Team.

Brooke Van Sickle and Marjana Phillips are both not eligible yet but currently processing papers for change in federation according to our VB Federation. Iris Tolenada is not good. This is not the best roster of PHI but exciting for us to watch since there are good new ones. No players from the Champion team (Champion for years lol) of the pro league also since they are currently in Spain as a vacation sponsored by their club team, arranged way before they got an NT call. This roster was just created last week since both the pro league and collegiate league just finished last week 😅
