Oh that's interesting. So you can watch an entire day of volleyball if you want.
Their Presidents Day Tourney will be the same time as one of the big club tournaments that weekend I take it?

they worded their explanation a bit poorly imo. each team will play twice per week. How does it work in practice? I have a hard time figuring out what a mock schedule would look like for one week. Their explanation makes it sound like there is one match during the week and three matches on the weekend. But four total matches can't have every team playing twice a week. Like even in the simplest model, which would just be three pairs of teams playing each other twice, that would be six total matches. So I'm clearly missing something.

So in my head, this is what made sense
Midweek: Omaha plays Madison
Weekend Houston plays Salt Lake, Dallas Atlanta plays Salt Lake, Madison Dallas plays Omaha, Houston Salt Lake plays Houston, Atlanta Omaha plays Dallas Madison plays Atlanta
Surely they cannot be playing three games over the weekend for one team... that is against everything the NT players have ever said

Anyway, I do think having the final in April is pretty smart. There's a couple weeks between the end of March Madness and the beginning of the NBA and NHL playoffs where the only major things that are on the sports calendar are regular season MLB/NBA/NHL and The Masters. And having a tournament on President's Day also seems pretty smart. I can't really think of any sport that is really using that day, and a fair number of people have it off. Actually, now that I look at it, it might be during the NBA All Star break. Or at least it would be this season. I'm not totally sure on 2025, but I think so.
Edit: I misread it. President's Day weekend. Still seems like a solid date, though the NBA All Star Game is during that weekend. I'm not sure that's the stiffest competition anyway, given the garbage that the NBA All Star Game has become. It's the worst all star games in the major sports.

I guess it could mean
Omaha-Madison on Wednesday
Omaha-Houston on Sat, Houston-Dallas on Fri, Sun Madison-Salt Lake on Sat, Salt Lake-Atlanta on Fri, Sun
but that would be too much

its not bad imo. Much more balanced than PVF. It seems similar to how Japan does it Where are the playing that they get that much luxury in the choice of schedule …

So. Do all the LOVB clubs play there also? That is one of the biggest if not the biggest youth weekend in the country. Who goes to watch then?
