these logos still throw me every time You know, I didn't like the logos for a while because they're fairly nebulous...but I have to admit that they're kind of growing on me. I also didn't like the lack of team names, but no name is better than a bad name (I say this as a fan of the Cleveland baseball team with the worst name in the majors). I don't know. It's probably just that this league has RJP and Jordan Thompson and a team in Salt Lake City, but I'm looking forward to their launch. not to digress but the guardians is a fun name! it rhymes with the former name and has the same amount of syllables, so its fun for chants/slogans etc

I think they would've been better off just using the city name rather than the LOVB+ name... (But I get that decision)
ill just say ive never once said "love" and it will always be "love-B"

I think the best thing that LOVB has going for it is their model does have financial protection (a la, kid's parents money).
I am interested to see how they can break into cities that already have a team (Omaha/Atlanta)..
I am curious how many games they want to be alongside club tournaments (i.e. will they have home arenas?)
I'm really hoping the single entity business is just to start up (kinda like NWSL did)... it would make more sense to have that be short term than their permanent strategy.

(But I get that decision) ill just say ive never once said "love" and it will always be "love-B" Pretty sure in the end most teams will be called by their city name when being referred to, which isn't uncommon in sports regardless of if a team has an actual name or not. Assuming any broadcaster would say 'Tonight Atlanta plays Omaha' instead of 'Tonight LOVB Atlanta Volleyball plays LOVB Omaha Volleyball'... It is just impossible to copyright the name 'Omaha' so instead it probably legally has to be 'LOVB Omaha Volleyball' for them to use it and have any ownership of it.

What cracks me up is that the name of the teams are redundant.
LOVB Salt Lake Volleyball = LeagueOne Volleyball Salt Lake Volleyball. 🤪🤪🤪
Just name them "Salt Lake LOVB"

At first, I didn't like it because it's so different and sounds somewhat similar to LIV Golf. I also thought it would be better to go with something like MLV, NVA or NVL like other pro leagues. But then I go to their website and see all these USWNT players with their heart hand signs. And I don't know. It just kind of works for me for some reason. And the fact that it's different does make it stand out, which could be good.

It would be nice to have any answers to those. It's such a massive red flag to me that they refuse to take interviews. The Master Coaches people have said over and over they're trying to get anybody on their show and LOVB just won't do it. Why would you turn down the free publicity?

its not bad imo. Much more balanced than PVF.
It seems similar to how Japan does it
