Warriors end it EMPHATICALLY on an 8-0 run!
25-12 Warriors
The Warriors hit .346 vs the Cardinal at .153.
Alaka'i led the Warriors with 17 kills hitting .367. Hawaii out blocked the Cardinal 11-4 and out dug the Cardinal 39-33 led by Choy (who settled out nicely!) with 10 digs.
Tread had issues all night with calibrating his location but he is a talent and does a lot of other things well to contribute to his team's score e.g. serving, blocking and floor defense
The composure that Keoni showed at the service line to end the match was noteworthy! Beautiful technique, great power but most importantly a very mature demeanor as his run carried on.
The Cardinal are a good team and their setter was their bright spot in my opinion. If they can cut down the unforced errors (14 unforced hitting errors and 15 service errors) they will be even more competitive on Friday evening. GO BOWS!
