As a long time season ticket holder I am in favor of "OUR" tradition of only standing on match point. The lower bowl section that I sit in with the other season ticket holders seem to agree that we should stick to "OUR" tradition.... my group also do not stand even if people blocking our view & gotta look up at the screen. Someone gotta tell CMac & Kanoa that Charlie has said he prefers people only stand up on Aloha ball. Also get that guy who sat front row, right side (camera view) to not hold up a sign to get up when only set point That's like telling a fan to stop cheering so loudly because he/she is irritating you. If people want to stand and cheer at set point, let them have their fun; let them get their money's worth. Is it really so bad?

Good win, many will put an * next to this win for the Bows since the possible POY wasn’t on the court for the cardinal! Will Rottman wouldn't have changed the outcome. Hawaii was dialed in after the 1st set. So, about that weak schedule.... LOL Yeah, if it was a 5 setter with each match decided by less than 4 points then you could prob make an argument that Rottman on the court would've swung things the other way (his 2024 stats are 4.94 pts per set). 25-15 and 25-12 say otherwise though hahahaha

The whole standing at set point vs match point debate is nonsense.

Rottman-less Stanford squad is the best match to pull the trigger on the "so, about that weak schedule" comment. Wasn't the leap in opponent difficulty a talking point all throughout the match last night on the broadcast?

You know what, I agree. Not the flashiest player on the court and not always 100% dialed in on offense. But their respective defense alone means the team will always be worse without them on the court.

Riley is not and did not do any of the above.
