Watching some of the match right now, Choy seemed to struggle with those float serves and was passing free balls way too close to the net. Hope he cleans that up for Friday's game! Some were def squeeze your okole kine passes on floats/free balls. But on the upside he had really nice passes on a lot of those hard jump serves, something we were missing last year.

HOLY MOLY! Kurt grabbed that ball from Hill LOL! 25-22 Warriors in the 3rd Hawaii up to 8 blocks and hitting .353. The Cardinal are hitting .227 but it's their unforced hitting errors and serving errors that are making a difference. If they can trim that down, I like them taking this to a 5th Go Bows! Kurt's blocking has been sus lately, but his mid-air fakeout solo block to close set 3 was beautiful

Todd stepped up. The Tusculum matches was a great practice for him. Last night he proved he can also do it with ranked teams. Chaz on the other...aaargh, these hot and cold is so frustrating to watch. I honestly think Louis is the better option to elevate this team.

Is that Jane Croson I've been seeing in the stands the last couple home games? If so, good to see her in Hawaii. And smiling. I will always root for her.

He would definitely get served of the court.

Chaz takes awhile to get warmed up as a hitter, but he is a decent passer and Warriors need him back there to steady out the passing. That is the key area that Louis will need to improve on but I'm sure Wade's crew will find ways of getting him on the court either as a substitute hitter or on serve. Maybe as soon as Friday. Kauling did a solid job as a serving sub and back row setter. There was a lot of moaning and groaning in my cheering section about Choy's performance but he did have his moments, especially in sets 3-4. Needs to recapture the quickness, drive and tenacity back when we played the Ramblers. We haven't seen that level of passing and digging from him since that first series. Chakas and Todd balled out from the opening bell, they owned the joint, no doubt Cards will be gearing their D strategy to slowing down these 2 guys, Tread needs to set our middles more and passing needs to be crisper. Would be awesome to see Tread hammer down some kills with more frequency since Cards will be keying on our pins.

Also, who the hell is telling people to stand up on set point?? I thought we'd be rid of that habit from the previous home games smh. I blame C-Mac As a long time season ticket holder I am in favor of "OUR" tradition of only standing on match point. The lower bowl section that I sit in with the other season ticket holders seem to agree that we should stick to "OUR" tradition....

Someone gotta tell CMac & Kanoa that Charlie has said he prefers people only stand up on Aloha ball. Also get that guy who sat front row, right side (camera view) to not hold up a sign to get up when only set point

Good win, many will put an * next to this win for the Bows since the possible POY wasn’t on the court for the cardinal! Will Rottman wouldn't have changed the outcome. Hawaii was dialed in after the 1st set. So, about that weak schedule.... LOL
