Week 6 is in the books. Another brutal week to rank. Feel free to explain any approaches rankings. Are you going with the “what have you done for me lately”, the “eye test”, “yeah but remember when you lost to _______”, etc.

Please rank 20 NCAA D1/D2 teams with no ties (ties will be broken or made by the voters as a whole).

With no matches on Sunday (and I got crap for doing it too late), please have your ballots in by Monday (2/12) 10:00pm PST. I will have the poll out by Tuesday morning.

Northridge lost to a Golf Tournament? we have Golf Tournament in the top 20 of MVB? did I see that right?! ok, I'm changing my vote. Master's =18, US Open = 19, PGA Championship = 20. & that's only because we don't allow foreign teams in the top 20, per the rules!! Looking forward to Penn State playing @ Merion this week. Will be tough for Penn State to hit those small greens with their serves.

It is a very tough week to rank, with many surprising results. It looks like some teams are still testing different line ups, some others suffered more than expected when one of their key players couldn’t play. Overall the ones with more depth are emerging. The split between LBSU and UCLA confirms for me the Beach at number 1 and elevates the Bruins (they might have found their best lineup for this season) to number 2. the Outrigger in March will tell us more about GCU and Hawaii, with Bows definitely knocking at the door of top 3.
