Announcers said he's healthy as far as they know. I guess he's in doghouse since he's seen zero action so far against GCU. Olmstead seems to love Browne and I don’t understand why. Moser is a better blocker and in my opinion, more consistent than Browne I was wondering the same thing. Considering how all 3 BYU hitters did poorly on the first night, I was surprised Olmstead did not play Moser on the second night — at all. I know it was only a few matches when Olmstead had Moser play for Browne, but I feel like Moser is much more effective than Browne. Moser seems to have more range in his shots, better court vision, and better defense. He seems to see the block much better as well. I know Browne’s serves are more lethal and disruptive, but I prefer Moser’s overall game than Browne. I was hoping for the second night against GCU, Olmstead would have tried the lineup with Moser on the right, while bringing in Browne as a serving specialist (as Olmstead has done before), and have Stanley share court time with either Benson or Ramanis on the left. Unfortunately that definitely will not happen even for future matches since Stanley is out with the ankle injury… I’m hoping Jon will be able to play again, at least around senior week and night. It is such a shame he went down.

from Hawaii, and I like BYU commentary over Hawaii's- especially C-Mac. They're too "homer" and dont seem to realise that Hawaii's matches are watched worldwide thru replays Well, to be fair, they do acknowledge and compliment the visiting teams a lot… but if by homer, you mean Iolani and Punahou homers, then yes, I am totally with you. Lol btw, I love your screen name. It makes me chuckle for reasons I should not say. haha you mentioned it so by law, you must say it lol

Wasn’t everyone convinced that GCU wasn’t very good, would lose to BYU, blah, blah, blah…
Are we willing to admit that maybe GCU isn’t a pretender? Obviously they are about to hit the meat of their schedule, but Werle has done a tremendous job.

Hickman’s up and down is concerning but this team is the real deal.

Compared to the lumbering big guys a lot of other teams have.

With that said...it's not how you start, it's how you finish that matters the most. I'd like to see if Grand Canyon doesn't fizzle out at the end like last year. They have the personnel to do it.

Still not convinced. This is not a very good BYU team.
