I would have to say yes because rumor has it that Brian will be the new AD at LBSU.

I remember a couple weeks ago, some Arizona backrow player, something-or-other Chin, posted on this forum about her playing time and why she's not on the travel team. Or she she alleged. Then, several days later, her post disappeared. Poof!
I'm not saying this post is not from Natalie Uhart. I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if this post went poof, too.
It's a strange phenomenon. If someone says "I'm so-and-so, and here's what I have to say...blah blah blah...", there's a greater than 50-50 chance that her post will be axed. This is not a criticism of the forum. It's just that unless there's solid proof that she's so-and-so, it's better to err on the side of caution.
I guess you can always OUT yourself if you wanted. It's certainly not prohibited. But it's certainly not wise either.

I think the "poof" is because the rule is "no outing" and that includes yourself.

Hmmm... I don't think that the posts I made which "outed" me were removed. Of course, I never tried to stay anonymous. If I had, I wouldn't have picked the name most MN volleyball people know me by as my username!

I think the "poof" is because the rule is "no outing" and that includes yourself. I believe that you can always OUT yourself, but there's always the issue of whether you are indeed who you say you are. For example, I've never used my real name EVER in anything I've done online. I have used names like Preston Young, Scott Thompson, Wes Siegel, Dennis Lee, Peter Boyd, and others, but they were all fakes! So, when I say my name is Preston Young, for example, am I really "Preston Young?" This could have tragic consequences if Preston Young was a real person. My point is, outing yourself is not prohibited; but it's a touchy issue. There's also another issue: Can you OUT a username with another username? For example, let's assume BIK=TheSantaBarbarian. If I post "BIK is TheSantaBarbarian," does that mean I have violated the rule against OUTING? No real names have been used; only VT usernames. I don't think this is a violation, because many have done so in this forum (including the mods) and none have been deleted. (Actually, some have been deleted, but I won't mention those because it's a sore subject with me.) The only clear rule is: you can NOT out other users with their REAL NAMES.

Personally, I think this thread's title is too inflammatory and the entire thread should go away before Natalie gets into further trouble at LBSU.
If it is indeed her, she was trying to set the record straight regarding her injury status - I'm not sure she intends to be drawn into anything more than that (that is, if she ever intends playing again). Ironically, she didn't need to post at all, as a later posting made her point beautifully.

True, but Natalie could always deny she is "vballgirl." Besides, she may not have posted.
Anyway, better to play it safe rather than have the Uharts file a lawsuit/injunction against VT.
