Who wins this matchup? And what does it mean for each program? Battle for the bottom in the Big West I'll take UCSB, but I don't feel good about it If either team wants to turn their season around (looking at you especially UCSB), this is a must have. Conference opener & easiest conference win either team will get in the Big West. Loser of this game is in a really tough spot.

UCSD Record: 5-8 UCSB record: 5-9 All time UCSD/UCSB matchup record: UCSB 33 wins, UCSD 8 Wins I think UCSB wins but it might be close with Dyer back. Both schools not performing to the level of expectations. Whoever wins can look themselves in the mirror the next day, that is what it means. And if either program has any hope of performing well and setting themselves up for a BW title, it starts here, as long a shot as that may be.

I would add CSUN to this group of ruffians slugging for the bottom title and easiest win category. LB, UH adn UCI have it easy compared to past years.
