Hi
I was wondering if anyone had any access to the Wed. Oct. 26 match against Kansas. I was wanting to get 3 tickets. (they are not for myself). They are for a friend of mine who has never been to a Husker game. I know the chances of finding them are pretty slim, but I thought I would try here too anyway. Thanks for any help.

Is it no longer easy to walk up and find scalpers around the Coliseum?

Yeah, you can always find tickets to ANYTHING if you hang around long enough.

As I was walking up to the Coliseum before the Huskers first home match (Pepperdine I think), I realized I forgot my ticket at home (70 miles away). There were dozens of tickets available out front - this was about 40 minutes before the start of the match. I got a Gen. Adm. ticket for $5 (I had offered $6, but he was just asking for $5 - weird huh) and then just went to my regular seat. I think now that we're into the Conference matches, they might not be quite as plentiful, but I would be real surprised if you couldn't get tickets out front at their face value ($12, 10 or $6) just come about an hour before the match to give yourself the best chance.
Also, try checking or posting your wants at the Match Club ticket exchange site.

There is still a chance if you call the ticket office that they will sell you a general admission ticket. Also, for the matches I've been to this year, there have been a number of people outside the Coliseum selling. I would imagine for a Wed night match against Kansas that there will be plenty of tickets on the street.

Ok thanks for the info guys/gals. I am not going to the game myself so that's why I can't walk up, but I will pass the info along. Thanks again.

I have not seen a discernible pattern this year when it comes to ticket availablity outside the Coliseum. Some matches there have been numerous buyers, while others I have seen numerous sellers. I think it would be a crapshoot to drive any distance with the thought that you can be assured of buying a ticket in front of the Coliseum.
