I did say that UCLA should be ahead of Hawaii. Why are people so angry on this website. I am just happy to have found somewhere to talk about mens college volleyball. It is a niche sport and I don't really know anyone who enjoys it the way I do. Weird to come on here and share a fairly uncontroversial opinion and have people get very upset lol that's VT in general LOL. Welcome! Just dont take anything personally

12-4 with the toughest schedule in the country is not losing a lot. Sweep of UCI, split with Long Beach, beating Penn State, a five set loss to Ohio State is more impressive than a 12-1 Hawaii team whose best win is Stanford (8-6) with oppenets like Emmanuel, Tusculum, Missouri AT&T, St. Francis...You did beat a 9-8 Loyola team but then lost. Let's be rational. Hawaii is good, however they are untested and their schedule to this point is a bit embarrassing. Why with athletes of Hawaii's caliber would you schedule this way? Their schedule should be closer to the top of the NCAA. Quality wins mean something. When you lose your player of the year, go to Oppo, middle and then starting Libero and have mostly new pieces on that floor minus your two pins and AA middle then you don't want to schedule a murderers row. I agree the schedule could have been a little more challenging but when people like YOU b*tch about our schedule but then it's the same program whom has been to 4 straight finals and have the most success since 2015....then I'd hush that mouth just a bit. What's the point in that when the Outrigger and your conference schedule already prepares you for the post season?? Also, can we point out to UCSB whom schedules a gauntlet of a schedule year after year and basically offs themselves before the conference season even starts? Should we go that route? Talking about UCLA as if you are hot s***....you lost to UCSB a team Hawaii hasn't lost to in YEARS and barely scrapped by BYU whom got blitzed by GCU the week prior. You had to pray to the gawds for someone or anyone on your squad to come through after rotating 5 different players at libero just for Champlain to get hot at the right time. Good job....UCLA and all its spoils on the bench deserves a friggen cookie! ** insert Gui Voss' golf clap here** You are the same creep whom complained the most in 2022 about our schedule and was shut the hell up after. Hahahahaha Def not jealous and loved Scates and what he did for the program over his long tenure. But Speraw been your coach since 2012 and only broke through last year? You guys have everything at your disposal for that program. Come on now. But your success of 2 decades ago make you almost as senile sometimes as some of Hawaii women's vb fans that still cling onto its glory banner years of the 80s. Bwhahaha |
