We can agree to disagree on that. Me saying that I think UCLA is better is based on my perceived potential skill of UCLA, versus Hawaii. But like I said, agree to disagree, no harm in that I wasn't even talking about potential. I was talking about what has been proven so far. But ya I understand "who is mostly likely to win in may" is different from "who is the best team right now based off results" but I think either way UCLA over Hawaii in my eyes. It is definitely close though. I am very curious to see if Alaki and Spyros can continue their crazy numbers against the stiffer competition I’m very excited to watch GCU and UCI play Hawaii next week. My prediction is Hawaii beats UCI and Lewis, but loses to GCU

Well see if he can carry the team.

I havent watched GCU enough but I guess Slight would be their standout guy.

Grand Canyon playing UC Irvine the day before is a big factor I'm hoping that's a 5 setter but don't see Irvine staying with GCU's middles well enough to be a factor. Plus GCU's serving can be insane at times which gives Irvine fits. Hopefully Flexen is back to give them a bigger option in the front while putting Tangutur in to pass backrow.

i think the NPOY race is between him and Chakas I agree and this makes the 3 UCI vs Hawaii games all the more exciting. No one on LB really stands out to me. I havent watched GCU enough but I guess Slight would be their standout guy. I agree with 'no one on LB really stands out'. Godbold kind of, but his average passing is a liability against a tough serving team. Briggs of course is so good we tend to forget him seems like he's been in the backrow forever. Beyond that, its one guy one game, another guy another game. Torwie started the season a bit slow in the kill department, but was blocking a lot. His serve is getting to be a big weapon. Now he's putting everything together. He might be 'the guy' but I doubt it, its an interesting team where anyone can step up any game. Bouchkov has dominated a few games and lately been kinda quiet. Sotiris seems to be struggling, maybe still recovering from whatever injury he had before the season. Varga looks to have a lot of upside, killer serve, but inconsistent. Harlan is incredible off the bench too. Very different from the Alex Nikolov year where he was clearly the guy and so good that it may have affected the development of other guys somewhat.

OUCH! Calling some of the Wahine Volleyball fans senile now?! wow.... I never said all....I said some. Lol I'm talking about the few that's all they cling on too lol. The rest are okay. So "some" Wahine fans like me that are old enough to remember the "glory banner years" and wish that our beloved team could return to those years are somehow "senile" because of that? That's a pretty shetty thing to say...smh....

I think every Hawaii fans wishes to put up banners back into the Stan including me. But hanging solely onto the 80s? You think you are in that category? Then that's all on you then. Cause I never thought you were in that camp. Even though we've had disagreements on here over the years.

Calling our kupuna "senile" because you don't agree with them on here is a pretty shetty thing to call people. That's all I'm saying... seems like he didnt mean all kupuna are senile, but he was referring to "some of Hawaii women's vb fans". Specifically those fans "that still cling onto its glory banner years of the 80s". but then again english is my second language and i had low grades in english class lol

I still think that's a shetty thing to say about "some" of our kupuna.

Some of these people are not all kupuna....we get 30,40 year old in this camp brah. Lol Edit: After thinking about it....I apologize for using the word senile. I'll use pupule instead.

Cuz also get those people who were young in the 80s and still talk about those days like Soljah mentioned. What is the minimum cutoff to be kupuna?
