I am just a Lewis parent and I do livestreams for fall preseason stuff, and I have also live-streamed matches during the season when there is no livestream available. I also do some play-by-play for some Lewis home games, so hopefully it’s not too cringy to listen to me. The coaching staff has entrusted me to run livestreams through the team’s FB account. I try to provide some modest play-by-play and I also try to do some research ahead-of-time. For my gear, I only packed a monopod for this Hawaii trip and I’ll use an old iPhone that I’m hoping to connect into the SSC WiFi. Mahalo, Rock! Yes, SSC does have free wifi. But ask Coach Dan Friend if he can reach out to Charlie and Rich Sheriff (arena manager and son of the late Stan Sheriff) and ask them to help you with that stable wifi. They have it free for all arena patrons but they only turn it on for a few hours in the evening during a UH match. Maybe they can have you use the arena staff wifi and not the free fan option so it's more stable connection for your stream. Thanks, soljah!
