Henno is MY NPOTY and its not even close. Thought Chakas could compete for it too. But with severity of his injury I'd be surprised he is even able to come back later on. Past midnight there n still up?

It actually looked more like hyperextended a bit from the replay, so hopefully it'll only be something like a more of a minor sprain. from the replay, the knee really didn't look like a buckle even though with an awkward landing and some pain. Hopefully he'll be ok and recover quick. I want this to be true so bad and see Chakas back on the court ASAP. I could only watch the replay once, and wish I looked away. I don't want to watch it again but I thought I saw the knee go sideways rather than hyperextend. I'm not a Dr. or PT. Praying for a minor sprain and a healthy Chakas.

Keoni seems like the next one up. But his height (despite his vertical) is what concerns me against LBSU. I think Louis is the next one up. Keoni is backing up Chaz so Louis is Spyros backup despite him coming in for Todd. I also wonder if Charlie will take Justin Todd off his redshirt year and give him more reps from now on because if any of the remaining OH was to get hurt or sick, we would have no one to fill in. Oguz needs to step up and maybe JT to get more reps at OH. JT is 6-6 and touch nearly 12 ft. The kid got size and and power. Just need more refining.

And tbh with the roster now down to about 15 of them.....I say let all the boys go on those road trips even if they are redshirted. They need to rally together ever more so with Chakas not out there. Get this team together the rest of the team and fly all the boys out for support.

Yes, that sidewards movement of his knee when he landed is what made me cringe. As I was watching the replay, I was like, oh, he's landing fine, then once he landed and turned, I was like ouch, ouch ouch!!! Prayers to Chakas!!! I'm just gonna fkn say it... this fkn stinks dodo. Dodo, dodo, dodo.

I get the feeling that JT wants that chance badly to prove himself. With all the studs due in for the next 2 years, JT wants to show what he can do NOW so he will have a heads up going into next season and get first crack at starting. If he is the competitor I think he is, he will tell Charlie that giving up the RS is no big deal and he wants to help the team win a championship.
The kid looks decent in some of his practice reels.
Anyway, I think Louis is going to have to be the guy to replace Spyros because of his experience. Thiim is a dynamite of a player but at 6-0, he will face big obstacles . Louis is someone that I think can be terminal with more practice with the “A” team.

Thiim's serving and back row game was admirable tonight so I wouldn't be surprised if he's the first batter up given his time in the program and the improvements that he's made.

He hasn't played significant time against better teams with high level serving yet. Just a hunch but I saw Henno going right at him which makes me think Henno knows something that the rest of the league is going to find out soon if Louis get full time start duties.

Yeah I noticed that too. This is where the coaches need to give Louis all of Spyros reps so Louis can improve.

He most def will be the main serving target. If I had to guess....it's both Louis and Roure that most likely takes the reigns next season after Spyros and Chaz are gone. I say give Louis those in game reps now at the pin and let him learn and grow. Cause regardless of what happens....we lose all 3 pins next season and need someone with in game reps to help lead such a young young group in 2025. But if I had to guess who Charlie puts in there in place of Spyros...it's gonna be Thiim.

Being 100% real, none of the remaining Outsides on Hawaii's roster won't be a serving target, especially against a team like LB. Maybe Kai Taylor could stave off some of the defensive and passing concerns, but he's a liability on offense and blocking. (Although all things considered, maybe that's an option if Alaka'i, Chaz, and the middles can all step up to split Chakas' burden on the offense)
If it's between Sakanoko and Thimm, they're probably both gonna get A team reps and it'll just come down to which one looks like less of a defensive liability.

Shout out to Keoni for his stat line from the service line where he went for 5 aces and only committed 2 service errors. That'll go a long way to helping Hawaii!
