We're a little over three months away from the 2026 recruiting class being able to verbally commit to college programs. Around this time last year, a thread was created where folks shared their thoughts about the top talent in the Recruiting Class of 2025 to watch out for in advance of the contact period opening up. I appreciated the thread and thought it would be nice to get that similar discussion going for this recruitment cycle.
It would be cool if folks shared the names of top players from the 2026 prep recruitment class that we should all keep on our radar as we get close to the contact period opening up. I think it would be preferable for people to name players they've seen play, over names that they've just seen on prep recruitment websites.
I'll try to update the second post of this thread with a list of names, their position, club, and state.
Thanks!

Out of the Northwest - Bellamie Beus (OH), Laura Eichert (OH), Kaitlyn Nguyen (L)...and if we want to include Montana - Abby Little (MB) are players that I think will get looks/offers from elite schools. I also like Brooke Hardy (OH/MB).

Henley Anderson will also be highly recruited and end up at a premier program.

I'm in the same boat!
I've got no connection to prep level volleyball so I'm totally dependent on others who do. It's fun to think about who's out there and what positions my team might be looking to recruit.

I will say that after seeing some of the 16's at triple crown so far, nobody in the class of 2026 has "wowed" me. Maybe my perception is off, but right now, I think this is going to mostly be a forgettable class, unlike what I think 2023 and eventually 2025 will be. And that's not to say that these players are "bad" - on the contrary, I'm continually impressed every year about how good these junior players are, but I'm just not sure I see players who are better (at a similar age) than players I recall seeing from prior years.

Ella Grimes - Libero plays at Elevation. She is one of the top overall players in the country (seen her ranked as high as #2) and also ranked as one of the top sand players as well.

I would agree with this. I remember thinking development for this class would be behind because of Covid. This is the one age where I think they got hit the most because of the developmental time they lost during Covid. (Applied to all but this group specifically IMO)

In Vegas, Ayanna Watson will be at the top of the elite schools list. She is special. Hammer for an arm and jumps through the roof. Saw her this past fall in Tampa at the Nike TOC playing for Bishop Gorman. She is a standout for sure.
