I just noticed the Elevation team is currently going to be playing in the American Division at USAV Nationals. Looks like they got upset at OVR Regional Bid tournament. They might not lose a set at Nationals. Wonder why they are doing this instead of playing Open at AAU. Maybe they will get an at-large bid. Elevation only played in 2 qualifiers. Rumor (and it’s only a rumor) has it that At Large bids generally go to teams who’ve completed in at least 3 qualifiers. OVR bid is no joke. Completely different from Pioneer bid where NKYVC 1s and 2s teams play each other at their own facility to decide who gets the National and who gets the American. As for playing Open in Orlando, that tournament filled up long before qualifiers were finished. If you weren’t signed up early, you couldn’t use it as a backup. Really hoping they get at least a National trickle down, if nothing else. You’re right that they will dismantle some teams in American. |

Wanted to bump this thread as we're about a month away from the first potential verbals for the 2026 class to see if anyone's got more names to add. Here's the current list copied from the second post of this thread: (Table deleted from response to minimize scrolling)
You have Jaden Robinson twice . You may also want to add Sarah Hickman an opposite from Houston Juiniors Thanks for the name suggestion! I just now added them to the list. I appreciate the proofreading and your note about Jayden Robinson being listed twice. For players who've listed themselves on their prep websites (like Hudl or SportsRecruits) as playing multiple positions, I've consciously listed them in each of those position categories on the list. My assumption is that they're posting any positions they're willing to play in college. |

Nadiya Johnson is absent from this list. Since she is on the USA U19 roster she would be a good add. Metro/Maryland. Metro probably has three other pins that could be added to this list.
I also like the 6'3" middle from Paramount Parker Sutherland. West Virginia/Paramount.
