If Hobus and Phllips continue at their current clip, it'll be a long night for Hawaii. Phillips- 6k, .556 Hobus - 5k, .625 Well-deserved first set for CSUN. Phillips and Hobus kept these numbers even with a number of bad sets in transition. And CSUN fought off some tough Hawaii serves. Hawaii losing by just two points is a positive, given these out of this world hitting percentages. But Hawaii needs to be more crisp offensively. Sub-300 ain't gonna do it. |

Yikes!!! This is suppose to be Hawaii’s easiest Big West series!!! But, clearly, and this is my first season watching men's volleyball, but damn, if so, the Big West is really good! |

If not mistaken, neither team called a TO or made a challenge in the first set.
