Baton Rouge, Louisiana — of all places — is the site this week of what is likely the most stacked regular-season tournament since college beach volleyball became an NCAA-championship sport in 2016: Larry Hamel breaks it down: volleyballmag.com/death-volley-invitiational-032824/I'm headed to practices today and will be there all days. Our weather for the next three days is perfect, too. Should be a great gathering and it's also free on VBTV.

Nice that they managed to stream this on VBTV. Does anyone know where to look for a full schedule?, so we don't have to go to each school site to see when they are playing

Thank you very much, both of you.
If anyone from VBTV is reading this: they should really figure out a formula to have the schedule of their streamed events on their platform. Extra points if they manage to do that in a clear and spoiler free way.

Stanford tweeted "no live stats"; I don't if they meant just for their match or in general. You can see the scoreboard on the court 2 live stream.
Stanford swept FAU.

FSU looks like a pretender this year. They have so much talent but something is not clicking. Only thing keeping their 1s in is their serving against UCLA. They have had at least 4 aces alone on Maggie Boyd.

tough watching courts 3 & 5 without audio/sound, seems weird
court 1 commentary and audio is solid

More random notes: - USC 4s and 5s look beatable and are gonna put a lot of pressure on their very strong 1s-3s to always win - FSU is missing Skyler, Morgan Chacon, and Paige K (out for the season) - TCU needs Alex Parkhurst to be healthy to be a top 5 team. As an aside, once Alvarez/Moreno and Maria G return next year, TCU will be very good. Their current 1s of Khmil/Hamlett are very good andwill return. They essentially will have 2 1s pairs! Scary! - UCLA plays such a consistent brand of volleyball. Still weird not seeing 4 year starter Powers in the lineup this year but seems like she really got beat out. - Second time seeing Stanford’s 6 pair, great depth for Stanford - Interested to watch rematch of FSU vs Cal

So that pressure hasn’t come yet…. In fact, it shows how much they can improve in the next few weeks.
