Not a lot of volleyball talk on this episode. Mostly mindset and religion, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
They did confirm that Tepic Elite16 will be their first event of the season. They’ll play the Elite16s after that, and possibly the Poland Challenger.

Alright I’ll say it.. the kid is pretty cringe. I’m all for religion and deep thinking. But that podcast was difficult to listen to.

I'll give it a listen. I don't know much about Andy's personality.

I watched the youtube video first and got a bit lost in some of things Miles had to say. But then I read Travis' write-up, and I think he wrapped it all together nicely and made it clearer.

Bummed that the Norway/Italy/USA1 on April 26 is the same time as Stagecoach, would’ve gone to Wave to watch

Is VolleyballMag basically the online version of the Watchtower at this point?

I respectfully disagree with the cringe, and this comes from an atheist! I appreciate how his faith motivates him. If that is a fuel to winning for him, makes as much sense to discuss it as it does to discuss training on a racquetball court.

It's interesting the role that religion/philosophy/politics plays in society. I'm all for any mindset that results in a person treating others, *and* themselves, with respect, dignity, and kindness -- how a person arrives there isn't as important as the arrival.

It would be a kindness to most volleyball fans if Sponcil, Partain, and the rest of the Hermosa Methodist Youth Choir kept their religion to themselves.

The Hermosa Methodist God is clearly an incredible defender. Which reminds me of a catcher's sweatshirt in softball, a few years ago, imprinted: "Thou Shalt Not Steal"/
