Harper is suspended from the Spring match. Source? This was mentioned in the articles. Came from the athletic department. Said the suspension from the big spring match was a decision that had already been made in light of the DUI incident. |

LMAOOO she’s definitely tanking her name and career with the choices she’s making. She’s is not poor AT ALL.. we went to hs together. She drives an Audi and her mother is a private financial advisor. It’s sad because she’s honestly an amazing volleyball player but she clearly hasn’t learned anything since her last run in with trouble 😂

Harper is suspended from the Spring match. Source? Nebraska Athletics released this statement after the allegations were made public: “We are aware of the incident report from Thursday night and are gathering more information. We had previously made the determination that Harper would be suspended for Saturday’s spring match. Any further discipline will be handled internally. We will have no further comment at this time.” |

I just don’t understand why? You just made a terrible decision to break the law and put people at risk, but luckily were given the opportunity to learn and grow from it. Then you break the law AGAIN? You have every resource available to you at Nebraska, great NIL, unlimited community support, and athletic talent. It’s just not adding up to me.

Which is why I posted after her reaction to the DUI, that something was wrong. She got pulled over for a DUI, and no matter how drunk she was, her belligerent behavior was just over the top. From the outside her life should be near perfect, but it clearly wasn’t. And now, she decides to be a thief in the largest sports apparel store in Lincoln? Not only are there cameras all over, but scores of shoppers would have been watching her every move-just because Harper Murray was in the store. And she steals cheap rings? Something is very wrong. Wish her well wherever she ends up. I fear her time in Lincoln is about up. 🏐 |

Cynically, I predict:
This episode and the DUI will be blamed on having a drinking problem. Which may or may not be true, but claiming addiction is likely to garner more sympathy and forgiveness than the alternative narrative that she willfully made bad choices. Over the summer she'll spend some time at an in-patient detox facility, and in the fall she will emerge with a very carefully choreographed apology tour - interviews with friendly parties, a podcast or two, public apology on Insta.
That's the smart PR move, both for her and Nebraska volleyball.

I’m surprised she didn’t make a public statement since the DUI incident. And also how she gained more followers from it lol.
She’s obviously going through something and I hope she heals from it before it ruins her. Great and fun player I’d like to continue to watch.

She could have recovered from one or the other - but not both. I don't see how she stays in Lincoln. Maybe take the year off and pop up somewhere new in 2025, but this is just too much, too soon. Maybe she can use NIL to make a t-shirt  |
