Hawaii hit .362 to UCI's .146
The Warriors out blocked the Anteaters, 12-9.
Louis led in kills with 16 kills and hit .375. Keoni Thiim scooped up a match-high 12 digs.
Henno led his team in with 13 kills but hit only .104.
The encouraging stat for Hawaii was it's middle attack going 15-2-24 and hitting .542.
I'm so proud of this team for fighting and dismantling a strong UCI team at home.

Interesting stat: Hawaii with 22 service errors to UCI's 14.
They nearly gave up an entire set and still won the match.

You notice things just started to click once again from that 3rd set on? They start to serve more consistently, they started to get more consistent kills, get that extra dig, make less errors. It was like that mental block started to clear up in front of our eyes. We see if they can continue this against UCSD and into the tournament. But great win especially against a team that had all the signs pointing too a 2-0 series sweep again Hawaii.
We will take the road split!!!
