Next week Friday and Saturday in La Jolla. Not sure how good the tritons are. Is their gym a tough place to play? Who’s there go-to players?

I’m surprised that Hawaii split. But they made it happen. 2-1 series against UCI is going to be critical for post-season. Right now Hawaii has the edge.

They do in those categories and also against GCU as well. But I'm sure Vinnie them will bring out the stats this week updating us on the at large chances.

You notice things just started to click once again from that 3rd set on? They start to serve more consistently, they started to get more consistent kills, get that extra dig, make less errors. It was like that mental block started to clear up in front of our eyes. We see if they can continue this against UCSD and into the tournament. But great win especially against a team that had all the signs pointing too a 2-0 series sweep again Hawaii. We will take the road split!!! I think the Warriors smelt blood in the water once Flexen went down. That three-headed monster of Henno, D'arcy and Flexen didn't give them much time to breathe and find confidence the first 4 sets of the series. After that though, everything came together. Henno getting pissy and showing it in the ways he did doesn't help his team either.

If they beat Long Beach 2x, they take #1 seed

After what was a rough first set, this was a nice team win on the road against a solid opponent. All starters other than Voss (9.5 points) and Rosenthal (9 points) contributed over 10 points in the match. Liked seeing Rosenthal get the middles more involved in sets three and four.
Hope the team can carry some consistency in the coming weeks since they can very well compete with the top teams.

I think it's turnabout is fair play because everyone and their mama started to come after Hawaii once Spyros went down too. And clearly that really hampered Hawaii for quite a bit since. But things started to click again and they built their confidence back up. Just in time. They needed this win not only to keep up but to built confidence and resilience once again. Hopefully it's what can reignite thus team to play better moving forward.

They all smelt blood in the water against Hawaii and came full throttle.

He just did it less and less as the years passed. But both him and Sanni has small kine temper tantrums at times.

I still think Henno is leading front runner for NPOY though.
