Is the NVA bankrupt? The website hasn’t been active all year and there is no posted schedule for the ‘24 season. Anyone know what’s going on?

Short version; the NVA is definitely not bankrupt or gone. An update will be posted shortly from the league. The Staff has been doing lots of work this off season and we are very excited for what's to come. I am happy to provide more info shortly! |

That’s good to hear - the matches are a lot of fun to watch. I keep hearing that the games are moving to San Diego, which is cool, and that info will be updated “shorty”, but after months, the season never seems to get updated and the website hasn’t seen an update all year. The website should have something on there to tell fans that the NVA is still here!

The 2024 season is supposed to start in just a couple of weeks and yet there has been zero info on upcoming matches, the NVA website is never updated and venues that were supposedly hosting matches said that they haven’t even been contacted by the NVA, let alone reserved the facilities. Every person connected to the NVA that I’ve talked to either doesn’t know what’s going on or says that info will be posted “soon”. I’ll believe it when I see it.

The is why the VLA will be the league of the future (im joking I know literally nothing im just trolling) there's just no NVA in AZ but tons of VLA teams which feels like an untapped market for the NVA considering how big volleyball is there.

No formal 2024 season as we pivot the direction of this league and prep for 2024. Multiple teams are finalizing their own seasons with matches competing against each other. Not the short term outcome we were hoping for, but we are very excited and optimistic for what's coming in 2025. Feel free to hit me with your questions and I will do what I can to answer them! |
