The only rumor left is Josh Aruya, who also fits the hole of the extra impact middle. I think at this point he's on top of the wishlist. Maybe my reading comprehension is bad, but I thought there were two upcoming announcements: a recruit and a transfer. I thought Weiter was the transfer and there was another recruit still pending.

Maybe the recruit was Presley Longfellow. I guess that's possible, but based on his past history of dropping hints I doubt it: normally they are game changing-type players.

Maybe some of these kids need to get the paperwork in order. Probably got offer to come only recently and maybe need get stuff in order. As long as they are here before school starts, they are good to go. Sakanoko signed in Dec of 2023 and played the 2024 season a couple months later. I believe Kainoa will enroll in the spring. There is a possibility that there could be others coming in other than Kainoa. Not ideal but doable.

He was subbed out the last sets of the final two matches for going off the rails. 😠But he started really strong. His setting errors start piling up though once he got into his head and the passing broke down a little.

Doesn't look like a natural OPP, not enough height IMO. I think he's switching to OH.

I think he's switching to OH. koavball mentioned that Charlie told him if he wants to succeed at the pro level he needs to work on his serve receive as they want him to play OH, because of him being undersized at Opp. But Hawaii had Brooke Sedore at Opp years ago, he was 6'5. They even used Johann Timmer at 6'6

UV was/is 6'5" and he might be the best OPP that ever played at UH. If Finn has long arms he might reach as high as some 6'7" guys. If he can pass then that would be a great option in case the team needs OH more than an OPP but I don't think he is too short to be a great OPP or even what could be called undersized.
Bianchi is listed as 6'6" and put up some of the best numbers at the position this year, being taller than 6'5" is not a mandatory requirement to be a good opp in NCAA. International it is more so, and UH having the option to play him at OH would be good for Charlie but if he can't pass that well and can produce at OPP better than the next guy, I don't see Charlie not playing him there.

Even Dimi is 6'6 but the guy can get up.

I think it’s best if Finn take Charlie’s suggestion to heart and move to OH. Titriyski is on a full ride, there is NO way he is siting on the bench. Then you have a guy like Kainoa, who has prototype OPP size and is tall and long.
It will be good move for him since being a lefty OH have it advantages. It will also allow him to get to the next level quicker.
Unless you have like a 48 inch vert, being a 6-5 probably won’t cut it at the highest level.

Even Dimi is 6'6 but the guy can get up. I believe there was a video somewhere that Dimi touched close to 12 ft. He can sky. I also think Dimi is long. He might be just 6-6 but he could be someone with long wing span so his 6-6 frame might be a little deceiving. I don’t think Finn is considered to be a long 6-5.
