I see some great things for this young squad with them hosting the Big 2 in conference play in LBSU and UCI at home as well as hosting the BWCT at the Stan. This young squad has the ability to open some eyes next season! Go Bows!

Given that Roure (and possibly Roure's friend) and Titriyski have enough international experience which is probably worth more than say a high level recruit playing club in US, I think they can hit the ground running.  Kearney and Tread played internationally, but I'm guessing...hoping... Roure and Titriyski might be a little further ahead.  I don't know the extent of Hazan's intentional experience other than he has some.   Sakanoko has kind of shown he can contribute in his first year and Roure is supposedly better. Looks like a promising reload for UH. Great job Coach Wade!

The even scarier part is that Hawaii isn't done with its recruiting for this class and they have yet to announce Kainoa Wade, the transfers as well as the "friend" of Adrien Roure that may be coming in with him. This UH squad next season will be stacked but young and really a peppy bunch.

*I inserted the guys that are still listed on the roster but not on the sidelines until they officially put out whether they decide to leave after this season or not.*

*No official announcement by the school for Kainoa Wade and Matthew Wheels but they both are 2024 recruits and announced their commitments on their social media thus the reason I put them in the 2025 roster already.*

Plus we got transfers and still a few more possible recruits from this class to come that have not confirmed yet but koavball will certainly throw out the breadcrumbs when he can !

I thought I saw somewhere that Wade wasn’t going to end up reclassifying? Maybe not. Even if he does come to UH next year, I would put Finn over him as next man up, but I agree with your starters

Talk has it that Kainoa will join the team for the Spring semester in January. That will put him behind because the bulk or almost all of the players will be here in August for the start of the academic year and participate in off season workouts.

Kainoa will probably enroll in January and then redshirt the season. He could participate in workouts and practices. He will then be active for the 2026 season.

I think Tread took a similar path this season. He came in January and was promptly given the key to the team . Not sure Kainoa will be in a similar situation but he can afford to RS, get bigger and stronger and then challenge for a spot the year after next. As good as Wade is, I don’t think he is as polished as the others coming in.

Wasn’t Tread there all year? Thought he was and Louis showed up in January.

Nope, it was Sakanoko who came in January and Tread cam in August last year when he finished his stint in the U19 worlds.

UH only lose two player after next season….Choy and Thompson. Payne is a class of 2025. Word is that Stavros could move up to 2025 so I’m not sure how big the next few recruiting classes are going to be since we have so many freshman this season and next.

The potential for transfers and late additions could make for small recruiting classes the next couples of years. UH can be kind of picky and go after the cream of the crop.

Different states had different rules but for some schools (Santa Cruz included) both 2020 and 2021 did not count against eligibility.
