I'll be happy as long as Florida, Louisville, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame are ahead of Hawaii.
I know it's a long waaaay off, but I would love to a see an NCAA 1st/2nd round bracket of:
Santa Clara Hawaii Purdue BYU
at Santa Clara, CA.

And have to play a top 25 team in the first round? How dare you even think such a thing!

Sorry to burst your bubble but with 4 teams in the top 25 it's definitely not going to happen. (Although, I think the games would be great to watch) I want to see a Hawaii-Long Beach, or UCSB matchup in the 1st or 2nd round, that would be great!

That would guarantee that Hawaii would make it to the next round.

Wow! WCC has three schools in the top 25 and the Big West has none. The times, they are a changin'.

Who has Penn State lost to? Too lazy to look it up. These are the types of questions that I never have been able to figure out. For someone with 450+ posts, it's obvious that you know that you can find their schedule/results with about three clicks of the mouse (Rich Kern's link, then on one of a number of his pages, say Rankings, and then clicking on Penn State). It would seem to be a lot less work than posting a message to the board and waiting for someone else to do it - less time and less clicks. So there has to be some other motive - like getting your post count up? - or trying to start a discussion about a team (maybe Penn State this this case)? It would think it would make more sense to look up the information and then make a case for the point you were trying to get to. Is it just me - or are silly little "questions" like this that someone "doesn't have the time to look up" seem weird to others too? ( That's my "silly little question" of the day. ) I'm not trying to pick on you Alberta, as I see this type of thing from time to time by many posters on this board, it just haven't figured it out what the deal is.

I was saying this is what I'd like to see....at the end of the season. The poll is not static. In order for my dream bracket to be a reality, I need these teams (SC, Hawaii, Purdue, BYU) to lose some more and have Lady Luck on my side.

This is a forum. You can ask any question you want -- silly, stupid, insightful, clever, etc. People go to forums to communicate with each other and also get info. I could get all the info I wanted by myself by just googling. But that's no fun. Personally, I'm trapped inside my house in Saratoga and, for reasons that have nothing to do with leprosy, I do not go out much, if at all. So, I need the human contact over the web. I need the interaction. I crave the attention and jump for joy whenever I see my name in lights. Ahh....yes! That's why I terrorize frequent as many different forums as I can. I can't explain it any better than that. It's just the pure rush I get by posting "Who is the assistant coach at Cal?" vs. just looking it up on the Cal site.
