Tritons very motivated cause it’s senior night True. But you would expect a Hawaii team that MUST win or be in the BWCT final in order to potentially even get an at large or get the automatic bid....to actually play up and build momentum going into the BWCT they host!!! This team looking like they could get knocked out easily in the quarterfinals! |

Hawaii hit .370 to UCSD's .342.
Lara is playing well for his team, going 11-3-19 hitting .421
Keoni is leading Hawaii with 8 kills while hitting .533
What I'm seeing is that the Triton offense is in rhythm and they're relentlessly transitioning the ball and scoring often. This has the Hawaii block way off balance and the Warrior floor D is out on an island just trying to survive the onslaught. Hawaii has 27 digs to UCSD's 17 so the stats seem to back up what I'm seeing out there.
Hawaii isn't out of this but they either have to hope that the Tritons can't keep up their torrid pace or ramp up the serving to make FBSO that much harder for UCSD.
Hawaii could stand to clean up their serve receive touches as well. The Tritons are playing great ball and its fun to watch!
